You’ll learn exercises for their developmental process and brain development, and important methods for soothing. It’s also a great bonding tool for parents, caregivers.

This workshop is for all mothers (postpartum through any age) and will uncover how to manage some of the biggest challenges we face from 6 weeks after delivery and beyond. Beyond that, we will learn and practice techniques to get you back on track to a healthier and more balanced you. 

Dr. Melissa Nassaney, Physical Therapist and owner of Integrative Wellness RI, Alyssa Knapp, MS, CEP, CTTS, will guide you through a deeper explanation of your core and pelvic floor and their impact on your pelvic health and the understanding of the mind-body connection.

You will walk away with the knowledge and understanding you need to make practical changes to your lifestyle behaviors, and a full outline of stretches, exercises, and mindfulness activities to integrate into your routine for optimal restoration.

Babies in arms are welcome and babysitting will be available!

A gentle and soothing time to support your self and baby by easing the mind and body throughout your pregnancy. Each class begins with prenatal breath work, allowing the mother to bring awareness to the power of her breath as a direct link to the baby. Prenatal yoga is designed to strengthen the pelvic floor, bring ease to the spine, and create suppleness in the hips; all allowing for a greater sense of well-being and relaxation.

Tickets are available online and are non-refundable.

Please bring a mat & wear comfortable clothing. This will be an interactive workshop that involves basic yoga and Pilates exercises for pelvic health. You will leave this workshop with greater mind-body awareness and a better understanding of of your pelvic floor.

This event will take place at The Barn at the Guild. This is the private event space at the Guild. It will be led by Lauren Gastall PT, DPT. Lauren is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and HAWT Pilates Instructor.
