Zumba for the Prenatal/Postnatal Client

ZUMBA Fitness is a Latin dance based fitness program created by Columbian fitness instructor and choreographer Alberto “Beto” Perez. Unlike traditional aerobics which focuses more on counting reps over the music, ZUMBA Fitness is about moving with the music. This combination of hot Latin rhythms and spicy dance moves is the reason ZUMBA Fitness has become known around the world as the “fitness party”. The routines feature aerobic interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms adaptable for expecting women at all stages of their pregnancy.

CHILDCARE - OUR VISION
WHETHER IT'S FOR A FEW HOURS OR FULL DAYS, We will engage and nurture your kiddos while you do you, whether that means work, workout, do errands or simply snooze.

Our child development program has a Reggio Emilia based philosophy which is supported by our play based Montessori style program.

We feel strongly that the most important focus for any caregivers on our staff is to nurture the development of each individual infant or toddler, helping to instill confidence in these budding minds as they begin to interact with their ever expanding world.

We offer an always evolving, engaging set of creative learning opportunities, offering various activities which will naturally inspire our kiddos minds. We are a play based program who is also a fully licensed child care center. Our team works hard to build lesson plans which are well rounded and include a healthy mix of the Rhode Island Early Learning Standards. This is in order to ensure that while the kids will build their confidence and their character in our nurturing, play based program - they will also have the tools they need to thrive once they enter their school age years.

Welcome to the fit family. At studio47, our goal is to not only change your body, but to change the way you move through life – physically, and mentally. Founded in 2008, studio47 ... moreat Barrington Pilates began with a simple vision: to marry the challenge of Pilates with the power of community. Our members have a lot in common – sore buns being one of them – but they also have different bodies, backgrounds, ages and goals. We take those differences, and blend them into energizing, one-of-a-kind, Pilates-based workouts. Both former dancers, Elizabeth and Mora craved a workout full of grace and control, but grounded in wellness and a healthy lifestyle. They came together to create a signature Pilates style in a studio that offers both breezy, chill vibes for Pilates equipment workouts, and a sleek studio space for group mat and standing Pilates classes. Walk in and enjoy our trendy boutique lounge that, as we like to say, “brings a little city to the suburbs.” On the go? Never miss a workout with our Virtual Studio. Just log in, and we’ll deliver the burn right to your computer or tablet screen. Ready to get started with studio47? Visit us at 99 Main Street, in Warren, RI, for your first class. We’re movers, we’re friends, we’re Pilates dorks, and we’re excited to meet you. Welcome!

Who are we?
Our founder Elizabeth and business partner Mora were dancers who craved a workout full of grace and control, grounded in wellness and a healthy lifestyle. They discovered the benefits of Pilates and started a studio with a simple vision: to marry the challenge of Pilates with the power of community. Between our two owners, seven instructors, loyal clientele, and amazing community of Pilates-lovers, we think we’ve done pretty well over the years.

What puts the 47 in studio47?
In 2008, Elizabeth opened Barrington Pilates and then partnered with Mora soon after. Over time, we realized that the name didn’t quite fit our vision for the studio. We like to think that our studio brings a little city to the suburbs. studio47? Now that sounds city. Our name is also based off the way we live: by the four pillars of fitness (strength, flexibility, balance, endurance), seven days a week.

Who are our clients?
studio47 Pilates’ clients have a lot in common (sore buns especially), but they also have different bodies, backgrounds, ages, and goals. We take those differences and blend them into energizing, one-of-a-kind, Pilates-based workouts. We do so with the goal of not only bettering your body, but also to change the way you move through life – physically and mentally.

What do we do?
Our studio offers breezy, chill vibes for Pilates equipment workouts and a sleek studio space for group mat and standing Pilates and barre classes. We also offer one-on-one sessions, for those who are looking to have a more personal workout experience.
