"Change happens through movement and movement heals."
I empower busy moms of littles to pamper themselves with Pilates and balance their bodies for birth and beyond.
Dr. Kristen Hardin, PT, DPT, NCPTGrowing up as a dancer, Junior Olympic gymnast and coach, I always planned to pursue a career in health and fitness. During my collegiate years at James Madison University, I worked as an ACE Certified Personal Trainer while earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. In 2009, I graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions and subsequently pursued the Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher credential to complement my clinical interests.
Integrating the Pilates principles and repertoire into my physical therapy practice has produced successful rehabilitation outcomes for a wide variety of my clients over the last decade. During my career in orthopedics, sports and dance medicine, home health, and concierge mobile fitness and wellness, I became a mom to a spunky little girl and busy baby boy. With an increased appreciation for the unique needs of mothers and children, I have devoted my professional development and advanced my clinical expertise to become a Prenatal and Postpartum Fitness Educator and Youth Fitness Specialist.
