Bianca Paredes is a Childbirth Doula who works to support women and their partners (if present) as they navigate pregnancy as well as the labor and delivery experience. Through her work Bianca aims to be a stabilizing energy for the mother and her partner throughout their unique journey to and through the birth experience. Blending her background in yoga and meditation along with the tools she has developed on her own journey, Bianca will work with you to create birth intentions aligned with your values and provide support through this life transition.
Also known as a birth companion or labor coach, a Childbirth Doula is a non-medical professional who supports a birthing woman and her partner (if present) by way of providing continuous care before, during and immediately after childbirth.
During labor, Bianca provides various non-medical support such as physical comfort measures, visualization, meditation and affirmation coaching. In addition to labor support, a Doula serves as a resource for education and community as well as emotional support and birth plan preparation.
