Ashleigh Marie, Founder/Owner & Practitioner of Massage Loft New England, has over a decade of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki II & Healing Arts Practitioner. She is a Mother, Writer, Yogi, Postpartum Doula, and Holistic Maternal Health Specialist. Ashleigh specializes in an integrated approach to healing through Therapeutic, Prenatal, Postnatal Massage and Reiki. Her care is gentle, yet effective in assisting the innate healing power of the body. She believes in treating the body as a whole, mind, body, and soul. Although her work is primarily with moms, she loves working with the entire family from babies to grandparents. She works with women with low & high risk pregnancies (with provider consent), clients with physical ailments (such as neck, back, hip pain), clients with anxiety/ depression, as well as clients healing from trauma whether birth or loss of a loved one.
Ashleigh graduated from New Hampshire Community Technical College in 2008 with over 1,000 training hours in Massage Therapy. She is dedicated to continually advancing her skill set and embodying what she practices. Ashleigh has since trained with Deepak Chopra certified instructors in Ayurveda, Dr John & Lordes Gray in USUI ReikI & II, Julie Brill of WellPregnancy as a Labor Doula, Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Holistic Health Coach, The Farm Midwives as a Midwife Assistant, Carol Osborne the pioneer of Pre/Perinatal Massage, and Jodi Congdon of Hip To Heart as a Postpartum Doula. She is currently training with Alyssa Knapp of Integrative Wellness RI as a USUI Holi Fire III Reiki Master. She will soon begin offering solo Reiki sessions at her practice as well as distance virtual Reiki sessions.
Massage Loft New England was originally established on the South Shore of MA in 2016 out of Seaside Chiropractic in Norwell and grew to a private practice location in Pembroke, MA in 2017. MLNE has since grown to two practice locations in collaboration with South Shore Perinatal Wellness Center in Norwell, MA and Harmony Chiropractic in Plainville, MA. Ashleigh is dual licensed as an LMT in MA & RI. Her latest service offering is A Light In The Dark: virtual Prenatal/Postpartum support with an emphasis on personalized self care development, stress relief support, Reiki energy healing, and guided meditation. It is also offered to bereaved mothers who are needing extra support with their healing.
Fall of 2019, Ashleigh launched Soul Family Doula, a sister company of Massage Loft New England. An equal and vital part of the practice and mission to help support the wellbeing of moms and families. The transitions of parenthood, while miraculous, also presents many challenges and there is a great need for more compassionate care in the entire process. Where families feel informed, well-taken care of, and empowered in their decisions.
